A garden is a lovely place that draws all humans towards it, it plays a prominent role in the life of a human , and a garden plays a big event as a part of setting for many religions The Christians believe that humanity was begun in a garden and the son of God rose from a garden. The Buddhist created gardens for nature to penetrate into their environments.
All monuments and government office have a garden around them. A garden is just a group of plants.
The reason for growing food in gardens is quite obvious as everyone loves to eat yields from the garden, and can avoid fat foods and live on foods from your garden and this is reasonable. But there are people who grow flower garden just for the pleasant look it gives and with not much benefit other than having a bunch of those lovely flowers. Finally after a lot of thinking and being prompted to plant decorative gardens I have believed that there are a lot of theories behind this.
The main reason why people are so much attracted to gardens is a basic love we all have towards nature like we aspire to progress and industrialize. In the midst of our hectic life and modernism we still desire to create a garden in any possible way as it gives comfort, total happiness and liveliness within us when we are amidst a green garden. We feel relaxed and calm when we meditate or do tai chi exercises and a place to reconcile from the overcrowded world.
It is also a guilty feeling within us that arouses us to create a garden as we have destroyed so much of nature for our necessity in this modern world. So just to compensate this we build tiny gardens to commemorate the trees destroyed. This is my theory which makes people to have gardening as a hobby too.
Gardening is no doubt a healthy exercise and do not misunderstand me. Any hobby that gives a good physical exercise, does no harm to the environment, and develops your diet is a positive act. So one need not worry about the basic theories that arouse gardening and everyone should develop this hobby. Gardening surely helps problems relating to obesity and pollution especially in the USA, and I feel gardening is the only option to restore this state of the world.
Although, I am not a psychologist and just a inquisitive gardener, I wonder many times what makes me do gardening with my tools few hours each day to help the plants grow knowing that they would naturally themselves, In my case my ignorance is extreme happiness that I derive from doing so.
